From social media to the museum: the illusions of Hugo Suissas at the Museo degli Innocenti

Photography enthusiasts will particularly appreciate the ironic composition of the images by Hugo Suissas, the Portuguese photographer to whom the current exhibition at the Museo degli Innocenti is dedicated, open until September 13th.
The project extends beyond the museum, with selected works on display at the Mercato Centrale in Florence.
The exhibition features approximately 50 works, iconic images and new productions by the self-taught artist, who has become a global viral phenomenon by creating an original visual language.
It's no surprise that Suissas's work has managed to conquer a large audience through social media, his images are reminiscent of advertising graphics, visually striking and instantly appreciable by anyone.
