European Night of Museums

On Saturday, May 23, 2026, the European Night of Museums returns, and like the rest of Italy, in Florence it will be possible to visit many museums and other cultural sites until late at night, either free of charge or for the symbolic price of €1.
The cultural initiative is promoted by the French Ministry of Culture and supported by UNESCO, the Council of Europe, and ICOM, and involves museums across Europe.

Here are the participating sites for the European Night of Museums in Florence:

Uffizi Gallery  
Special opening of the second floor of the Uffizi from 7:00 PM to 11:00 PM (last admission at 9:30 PM).
Admission is a symbolic €1, except for regular free admissions.

Opera del Duomo Museum 
Open free of charge from 9:00 PM to midnight (last admission at midnight).
Access to the museum during late hours is free, with no reservation or ticket required.

Accademia Gallery 
Open until 10:30 PM with admission costing €1. 
Tickets will cost a symbolic €1, except for regular free admissions.

Medici Chapels 
The museum will remain open until 10:30 PM, with the ticket office reopening at 6:30 PM.
Tickets are €1, except for regular free admissions.

Bargello National Museum 
The Bargello Museum will remain open until 10:30 PM. 
The ticket office reopens at 6:30 PM, with tickets at €1, except for regular free admissions.

San Marco Museum 
Open exceptionally late at night until 9:50 PM (last admission at 9:00 PM).
Tickets are €1, except for regular free admissions required by law.

National Archaeological Museum 
Open until 10:00 PM (last admission at 9:15 PM).
Entrance fee: €1.

Opificio delle Pietre Dure Museum 
Open until 11:00 PM (last admission at 10:30 PM), with a €1 entrance ticket.

Ferragamo Museum 
Open until 11:00 PM, with free admission and free guided tours of the Salvatore Ferragamo 1898-1960 exhibition. 
First visit from 7:00 PM to 8:00 PM, second visit from 8:00 PM to 9:00 PM. Reservations required, subject to availability.

Palazzo Davanzati 
Open until 10:30 PM.
The ticket office reopens at 6:30 PM; admission is €1.

Orsanmichele Complex 
Open until 10:30 PM. The ticket office reopens at 6:30 PM.
Tickets are €1, except for regular free admissions.

Villa Medicea La Petraia 
Villa Medicea La Petraia also has exceptional opening hours from 7:00 PM to 11:00 PM (the ticket office closes at 10:00 PM).
Admission is €1.
