Early One Morning

                               Sculpture Exhibition

                       Marino Marini Museum, Firenze

On Saturday, 17th november 2012 there will be the inauguration of the sculpture exhibition of Yuri Ancarani, which opens the project Early One Morning created by Alberto Salvadori, artistic director of the florentine Marino Marini Museum. The title Early One Moment is drawn on a work by the famous English sculptor Anthony Caro from 1962. It is a one and a half year long project committed to the subject of sculpture and its interpretation from the sixties until today. It is composed by a program of exhibitions and events. Focus of attention is not the sculpture in itself but the dinamic union of the object and the body which interacts with it, offering to the spectator a different relation from the traditional one. The project examines different working methods, from the historical reconnaissance and reactivation of sculptures thanks to the interaction with the public, to the research made by young Italian and international generations. And even the use of video as an instrument of research and of relation between people, objects, architecture. The exhibitions, inedited projects in Italy, are been conceived and producted for the Marino Marini Museum and can be visited until February 2014.
