Sculpture
In Florence worked artists such as Michelangelo, Cellini, Giambologna, Donatello, Ghiberti, Verrocchio and many others. For this reason, attending a course in our city is certainly an enriching experience.
The Sculpture course focuses on the study of clay sculpture and marble carving using traditional methods (without machine tools). Those who already have a good knowledge of the techniques will discuss with the teacher an individual work plan during the course.
Courses can be started every week and classes are held in the afternoon. The Intensive course is held Monday to Friday from 3pm to 7pm, while the schedule for the Basic and Semi-intensive courses varies for every student and will be communicated on the week before the starting of the course.
This course is available in three types*:
- Basic (6 hours per week)
- Semi-intensive (10 hours per week)
- Intensive (20 hours per week, the first week 19 hours)
The minimum enrollment is 2 weeks.
*The marble sculpture course is offered only in the semi-intensive and intensive types, with a minimum enrollment of 4 weeks.
All our teachers speak Italian and English.

It is possible to book private lessons.
The school is equipped with a kiln where students can fire their clay sculptures with a small additional fee. Students can also also make plaster casts of their works by attending private lessons.
Blocks of clay and of high-quality marble from Carrara can be purchased directly at school. To attend the Marble Sculpture course it is necessary to make a specific request via email and register for at least 4 weeks as learning how to handle correctly the tools necessary for the processing of this material and carving in itself can require a long time of practice.
